Her condition as a self-taught artist allows her to take a different approach to the material, exploring it intuitively and obtaining abstractions that evoke natural shapes as well as elements of a rituality that brings together her Japanese cultural baggage as well as her residence of more than 30 years.
Sculptor Michiko Aoki will be presenting his latest work, Fondo sin fin, at the Yvonne Sanguineti art and design gallery. Aoki's takes a look into the human perception of infinte states. Each work is as contriving as the next. This artist has held showcases around the world from Japan to the United States, from Canada to right here in Lima.
